FATAL CROSSROADS

It all begins in December 1944 with the onslaught of the German offensive known as, “The Battle of the Bulge”. Spearheaded by the sixth SS Panzer group lead by Joachim Peiper, his powerful elite unit pushes through the Belgium country side inflicting mayhem and murder both on the American army and the civilian population.The story then turns to the plight of Sergeant Eddie Bracket a young wounded G,I, who just happens to find himself in the care of Elke Hagen, a beautiful local farm girl who finds the wounded G.I. hiding in her barn. Needless, to say the two soon find themselves falling deeply in love but of course they soon discover that their romance has to come to an end since Eddie must return to his unit and therefore leave the femme fatale behind.Fast forward thirty years when Eddie and several of his former buddies return for an event commemorating the circumstances in which he was wounded. It’s here that he meets a young Belgian Journalist by the name of Edda Müller who decides to lead Eddie and his American friends down a long path of righteous revenge.Meanwhile, former SS Colonel Peiper is now enjoying his retirement on a quiet piece of land in western France where he is discovered by Eddie with the help of Edda. Just when it seems Eddie is about to even the score with Peiper, a group of French resistance members intervene and their plans quickly unravel.Do Eddie and his friends exact their revenge or make peace with the former SS Colonel? And what about the Frenchmen, what action do they take? And what about Elke Hagen, Eddie’s love interest from the war?
